Medtech Startup
Luna Diabetes
From zero to launched in 4 weeks. A medtech startup site with two critical integrations, built at startup speed.
The challenge
Luna Diabetes is a medtech startup developing tools to help people manage their diabetes more effectively. As a young company preparing for market entry, they needed a professional web presence fast. Investor meetings were coming up, partnerships were being negotiated, and the team needed a site that communicated credibility and innovation.
The timeline was aggressive: four weeks from kickoff to launch. The site needed to integrate with two external systems for product data and user registration, both with their own API constraints and documentation gaps.
In medtech, trust is everything. The site had to convey clinical seriousness while remaining approachable for patients and caregivers who would be the end users of Luna's products.
Our approach
We ran an accelerated process tailored to startup constraints. The first week was dedicated to strategy and content architecture: understanding Luna's positioning, mapping the user journey for both patients and healthcare professionals, and defining the integration requirements.
Weeks two and three focused on parallel execution. Design and development ran simultaneously, with daily check-ins to keep alignment tight. The two integrations were prototyped early to surface any API issues before they could derail the timeline.
Week four was dedicated to testing, content refinement, and launch preparation. We tested across devices, validated the integrations under real conditions, and ensured the site met accessibility standards appropriate for a healthcare audience.

On time
Before investor deadline
Luna Diabetes launched on schedule, ahead of a critical investor presentation. The site gave the team a credible digital presence that matched the quality of their product and the seriousness of their mission.
Both integrations worked reliably from day one, connecting the site to Luna's product ecosystem. The site became the primary touchpoint for investor communications, partnership discussions, and early user acquisition.
